Excellent session today. Growing everyday learning that it is okay for me to make my own decisions and enjoy myself. Learning that there are going to be tests and trials every now and then but that the situation of being happy doesnt have to be hindered by them.

Joanne is always warm and inviting, and easy to talk to. She meets me where I'm at in all the ups and downs of life, without judgment, and helps me strip away the noise to identify feelings, thoughts, what is real, and what isn't—guiding me to better understand myself and what matters most to me. Her skill in helping is the best I've experienced, allowing me to recognize what's really going on and understand how to get what I want out of life. I can't recommend her enough. Ngā mihi nui :)

Well very progressive today, I found that crying was not a crime and that sometimes its good. Spoke about some real issues that need to be dealt with. Progressive by the way of saying to myself. I need help. Not because of pride but because I have been used to sorting everything in my life alone. Thank you to the Counsellor. Its working. In the beginning I could not see how Counselling was gonna help. But now I know that its gonna benefit me in a way of not just healing. But progression for the good times. Once again Counsellor. Thank you

Who isn't apprehensive about therapy?
I had been to multiple therapists before Joanne, and although they had been helpful, none had the depth and professional experience that she has.
In our sessions Joanne has helped me identify patterns that have been with me for years, she doesn't just validate negative emotions but helps bring you to the conclusions you need and then provides scaffolding and a place to work through those conclusions. I have become noticeably more resilient and calmer since our sessions have started.
I cannot recommend this practice enough.
Therapy costs money, and it is daunting, but it has and is helping me rewire patterns and self beliefs that have kept me suffering for a long time.

“I’ve only just begun my counseling journey, but I already feel lighter. My counselor makes it easy to open up and really understands what I’m trying to say, even when I struggle with the words. For the first time in a long time, I feel hopeful. So grateful to have found this place.”

Very positive! Better and easier and simpler than expected. Listens and gives positive methodologies that are easy to understand and follow. I was not overloaded and was given the time to improve at a rate I was capable of handling. I doubt I could find a better more capable service elsewhere.

I was somewhat hesitant to try counselling again, as I'd given it a crack in the past and felt it wasn't for me; but I recently hit the point where I was forced to acknowledge I needed it - and I honestly can't recommend it enough. I'm not naive to declare I'm all cured or anything like that, but Joanne was fantastic in helping me develop the tools I was missing to help me navigate rough periods in life. I genuinely can't imagine where I'd be at if I hadn't approached Joanne for help - as cliche as it sounds, I've found it to quite literally be life changing. If you're considering therapy or just want to improve your mental wellbeing, I cannot recommend her services enough.

Through counselling I've learnt ways and been given the mental and emotional means that have helped me regulate negative emotions, to notice unhelpful behaviours and to begin taking control of my life again.
Joanne is highly qualified, with extensive experience. She is professional, astute, empathetic, and focused on my wellbeing, as she would be on yours.
Joanne is a competent therapist.
